Saint-Martin 4th Gastronomy Festival, which kicked off on November 11, 2024. The festival, organized by the St. Martin Tourism Office, featured a variety of events including cooking workshops, wine and cheese pairings, and a BBQ competition. The festival brought together chefs from around the world to showcase their culinary skills and compete in various categories.
Some of the standout dishes included:
- BBQ Specialties: Sky’s the Limit won awards for Best Fish, Best Chicken, and Best Pig Tails, while Quality Food took home the prize for Best Ribs.
- Street Food: Quesmex was named the Best Food Truck, offering a fusion of Mexican and Caribbean flavors.
- Desserts: Le Savannah won the Best Dessert award with their innovative creations.
- Gourmet Cuisine: Les Galets was recognized for its refined dishes, winning the title of Best Table.
The festival also featured unique events like mixology competitions and food and cocktail pairings, adding to the diverse culinary experience.
